Boiled Cabbage Recipe
A quick and easy Boiled Cabbage Recipe that is very filling and healthy for the whole family!
Boiled Cabbage Ingredients:
- 1 head of cabbage, rinsed and quartered
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- pinch of salt and pepper to taste
Boiled Cabbage Instructions:
Add 1/2 inch of water to big skillet or Dutch oven and bring to boil.
Place cabbage quartered wedges and 1/2 teaspoon of salt in skillet or dutch oven.
Simmer with lid tightly sealed for about 10 minutes. Using a fork, rotate cabbage and continue simmering another 10 minutes.
Add melted butter and coat boiled cabbage thoroughly.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
