Cooking Cabbage by Roasting

Roasting cabbage is a a simple, quick and delicious way of cooking a head of green cabbage. Let’s get started on this cabbage recipe.

Cooking Cabbage by Roasting Ingredients:

  • 1 head green cabbage
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • sea salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste

Cooking Cabbage by Roasting Instructions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Stir olive oil and lemon juice together in a small bowl.

Coat roasting pan with non-stick spray or wipe thin layer of oil on with paper towel.

Cut head of cabbage into 8 wedges and place in the roasting pan.

Apply oil lemon juice mix to the cabbage and sprinkle with sea salt, garlic powder and ground black pepper. Flip cabbage and coat both sides.

Roast cabbage 15 minutes per side for a total of 30 minutes in the oven.
